Role Summary:
The Investment Manager is responsible for underwriting investment opportunities, leading the capitalization of our existing pipeline, providing financial analyses to support investment decisions, conducting market research, engaging with lenders to secure financing, and leading the execution of investment and development transactions. Day to day duties include sourcing opportunities, analysing due diligence materials and transaction documents and preparing & presenting investment memoranda.
Role Responsibilities:
You will perform the functions of Investment Manager, to include (not limited):
- Sourcing, preparing and presenting new investment memo’s; financing or disposition recommendations; and updates on existing investments or portfolio status
- Manage acquisition due diligence processes and closings with outside counterparties, managing external advisors
- Actively engaging with owners, brokers, equity partners, lenders, attorneys, consultants and all other related internal departments, as appropriate
- Financial analysis and underwriting of investment opportunities, including running detailed multi-tier pro-forma waterfall models; work closely with Development, Asset Management and Operations teams to ensure all assumptions have been reviewed and are coordinated
- Engaging with lenders to negotiate termsheets and long form agreements and navigate internal approval processes (with support from in-house counsel),
- Assist with asset management, value-add execution and disposition of existing portfolio assets
- Market investigation of potential acquisitions, competitive properties and local market fundamentals
- Support the development of new and junior hires through financial investment training and best practices.
- Completes various human resources, financial, administrative, and other reports and analysis, and performs other duties as assigned or as necessary. Monitors and reports on key market, industry and competitor data;
You will perform your duties under the authority and in accordance with the instructions given by the Managing Director Real Estate France.
Profile:
You justify a successful professional and relevant experience of 3 to 5 years, ideally from the Logistics/Industrial sector.
You have the ability to combine network in the real estate industry, commercial mindset, experience in acquisitions, financial and real-estate knowledge and management of third parties,
Autonomous and with a strong team spirit, you work with a permanent worry of analysis, rigor and quality in your interventions and renderings,
You want to get involved in a dynamic and innovative structure, with an entrepreneurial and multidisciplinary culture within an ambitious human scale team with an international dimension,
Knowledge & Qualifications:
- Educated to MSc / University Degree (2:1 and above) or equivalent in or a related business or analytical subject; such as real estate, finance, business management, accounting, economics, mathematics, statistics; science or engineering
- IT literate and fully conversant with all Microsoft packages including PowerPoint (Advanced level) and Excel (Advanced level)
