The Client is an international real estate investment fund with approximately $8billion of real estate assets under management. The Parisian team is looking to hire an Investment Manager to join the Real Estate investment team and support the value creation activities of the Investment team in Paris. He/she will be required to work collaboratively with other colleagues based in Paris and other offices in Europe and Singapore. Some traveling will be required. The candidate will be based in Paris.
Role objectives
- The Investment Manager is responsible for assisting the Head of Investment with financial modelling, market/ due-diligence analysis and investment committee paper preparation for commercial property acquisitions and sales;
- The Investment Manager will source opportunities;
- He/She will also liaise with the asset management and fund management teams.
Position Responsibilities
- Structure and execution of investments including due diligence and legal documentation process;
- Sourcing of deals in France;
- Preparation of investment theses/ proposals on investment opportunities for approval;
- Creating and driving development appraisals and modelling cash flows;
- Preparation of investment committee recommendation board papers;
- Participation in fund raising;
- Setting up of external financing;
- Participation in the negotiation of sale contracts.
Qualifications & Experience
- Strong academic credentials from a leading, internationally regarded university, engineering or business school;
- A minimum of 5 year of real estate experience;
- An advanced level of proficiency in Excel in being able to create financial models with accuracy and with flexibility for different investment structures and real estate development strategies.
- Strong knowledge in structuring and financing;
- Organization skills, curiosity, rigor, taste for analysis and precision, team spirit and adaptability;
- Excellent attention to details and strong written/ verbal communication;
- Skills in computing tools (Excel, PowerPoint and Word) required;
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills, additional one European language is preferred.

- Broad IT skills: office package with strong Excel modelling experience, valuations software is strong plus;
- Analytical understanding of commercial property with a sound commercial judgement;
