Salary Range: £45k – £65k + Bonus
Overview
A leading global real estate advisor firm is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Analyst or Associate to join its Hotel Capital Markets team, based in the Manchester office. This is an exciting opportunity to work in the fast-evolving trading hotels sector, with a growing focus on owner/operator transactions across regional geographies in the UK.
The successful candidate will play a central role in the origination, analysis, and execution of hotel investment deals, working closely with senior team members and a range of high-profile clients, including institutional investors, private equity firms, and hotel operators.
Key Responsibilities
- Transaction Management: Support and manage hotel investment transactions across a wide range of regional UK markets, providing end-to-end involvement from origination to completion.
- Market Insight: Track and analyse regional hotel trading performance, trends, and investor sentiment in key non-London markets.
- Financial Analysis: Create and interpret detailed financial models and investment appraisals for single asset and portfolio deals.
- Client Interaction: Liaise with hotel owners, operators, and investors to support the negotiation and completion of transactions.
- Documentation & Reporting: Assist in the preparation of investment memoranda, client presentations, marketing materials, and transaction due diligence packs.
- Owner/Operator Advisory: Help pivot the team’s offering to more closely support the operational and ownership strategies of hotel businesses.
- Business Development: Contribute to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through research and relationship building.
Candidate Profile
- 1–2 years of experience in real estate, hospitality, corporate finance, or investment advisory for Analyst level; 3–5 years for Associate level.
- Strong commercial acumen and hospitality market knowledge
- Excellent financial modelling and Excel skills; PowerPoint proficiency essential.
- Familiarity with hotel performance metrics, lease structures, and business models.
- Confident communicator with strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities independently.
