The Role
The company is hiring a Real Estate Investment Analyst to underwrite and assess new real estate opportunities, supporting the firm’s deal execution across both the UK and Portuguese markets. This position is ideal for a highly analytical, commercially astute individual eager to work directly with senior leadership and influence key investment decisions.
Depending on experience and preference, this can be:
- A single role covering both the UK and Portugal, or
- Two separate positions, each focused on a specific region.
Responsibilities
- Underwrite and analyse potential real estate investments (residential, land, and hospitality assets)
- Build and maintain robust, from-scratch Excel models for investment analysis
- Conduct market research, financial due diligence, and scenario planning
- Prepare internal memos and investment committee materials
- Collaborate closely with senior team members and founders throughout the deal lifecycle
- Assist in sourcing and evaluating pipeline opportunities
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience underwriting real estate investments (land, residential, or hospitality)
- Strong Excel modelling skills; able to build complex models independently
- Exceptional analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Strong commercial judgment and the ability to think like an investor
- Confidence and maturity to work directly with partners and senior leadership
- Fluency in Portuguese is a major advantage for roles focused on Portugal
