Investment Analyst – Residential & Mixed-Use Real Estate
Location: London
Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 + Bonus

With a strong pipeline of deals and a focus on identifying value-add opportunities, the team works across acquisition, development, asset management, and finance.

 

Position Overview:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Investment Analyst to join their London office. The successful candidate will support the investment team on all aspects of the deal cycle, including underwriting, financial modelling, market research, due diligence, and the preparation of investment materials.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience, take on early responsibility, and work closely with a dynamic senior team on high-profile real estate investments.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake detailed financial modelling and investment underwriting for residential and mixed-use real estate acquisitions and developments.
  • Assist with all stages of the due diligence process, including market analysis, site inspections, feasibility studies, and risk assessments.
  • Prepare high-quality investment memoranda, pitch decks, and presentation materials for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Perform thorough market research, including demographic analysis, sales and rental comparables, and broader economic trends.
  • Support senior management in transaction negotiations and the execution of acquisition strategies.
  • Liaise with external consultants, brokers, legal advisors, and other professional teams during the transaction process.
  • Maintain and update the internal deal pipeline and database.

 

Candidate Profile:

  • Degree educated, preferably in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • 1–2 years of relevant experience in real estate investment, development, corporate finance, banking, or management consulting; OR candidates with multiple relevant internships focused on real estate investment and acquisitions.
  • Strong financial modelling skills (Excel) and a solid understanding of cash flow analysis, IRRs, and development appraisals.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to produce polished, investor-ready presentation materials.
  • Strong analytical skills with a genuine passion for real estate investment.
  • Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
