The Company

The company is a Real Estate Fintech investing in commercial and residential real estate across Europe. This is a new role within a fast-growing investment company and a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.

 

The Position:

The company is looking to recruit their Director of Investor Relations and Business Development to provide world class investment services and investor experience to the company’s partners and prospects. The role will give the right candidate an innovative investment platform to work in a fast paced, flexible and entrepreneurial environment.

 

Primary responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and develop relationships with existing and prospective investors
  • Lead, design and coordinate the execution of the capital raising strategy
  • Coordinate legal/regulatory workstreams and structure our investment products to facilitate fundraising and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Maintain ongoing relations with investors and respond to their due diligence requests
  • Plan and execute prospective investor coverage in an organised and methodical manner
  • Promote the company’s real estate investment products and lead the production of all marketing materials / content
  • Research, identify, monitor and perform viability analysis for the development of new investment products and strategies across geographies and asset classes
  • Ongoing involvement in corporate and strategic matters, with a view to lead or support company level strategic events/decisions
  • Engage with appropriate tech and investment stakeholders to ensure a smooth investor experience and support the development of the company’s digital platform
  • Continuously learn and connect by participating in educational opportunities and maintaining personal networks
  • Actively contribute to new initiatives across business lines as the company continues to scale
  • Travel as needed to support the Investor Relations and Business Development initiatives
  • Foster a positive team culture

 

Background and experience

  • 8 to 15 years of investor/investment experience in the private equity real estate and/or private wealth management industry
  • Proven investment experience and demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors
  • Knowledge of the competitive landscape in FinTech and the alternative investment space
  • Excellent academic credentials from an internationally regarded university or business school
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken) – additional foreign language would be a plus
  • Highly proficient in PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Additional merit attributed for experience with Salesforce, Hubspot, and/or Preqin
