About The Company

 The company is a private equity firm investing in real estate and operating companies across the globe and deploying value add investment strategies. The firm is backed by leading institutional investors. The team is diverse and composed of experienced professionals with an extensive track record in the real estate industry.

 

About the Role

The individual is responsible for sourcing, underwriting and executing investment opportunities across Europe. The individual will report to the business partners and will work closely with colleagues and senior leaders across the wider global team.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing investment opportunities
  • Performing financial analyses such as corporate and asset valuations, merger models, leveraged buyout analyses and operating models
  • Performing financial analysis and underwriting of investment opportunities, including running waterfall models.
  • Managing acquisition due diligence processes
  • Engaging with lenders to negotiate term sheets and agreements
  • Performing and presenting investment memorandum
  • Engaging with owners, brokers, equity partners, lenders, attorneys, consultants, and all other related internal departments.
  • Assisting with asset management, value-add execution and disposition of assets

 

The candidate

  • MSc /University Degree (2:1 and above) – finance, business management, real estate, accounting, economics, mathematics, statistics; science or engineering
  • IT literate and fully conversant with all Microsoft packages
  • Demonstrable experience in an analytical role within investment banking, private equity or other related finance position.
  • Strong quantitative background with experience in financial modelling ideally in corporate finance or related business
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills and attention to detail with a demonstrable ability to research, analyse and present complex financial data
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; including the ability to effectively write and present reports and information
  • Good organisation skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure and to deadlines.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, both with respect to managing workload and own professional development
  • Transactional experience
  • Naturally inquisitive with a desire to understand the bigger picture and get involved with wider team and business objectives
  • A positive team player, with an adaptable and flexible approach along with ability to work collaboratively to drive results and support the wider team and business objectives
  • Must have excellent written and spoken English and French
  • Demonstrable interest or experience working in the Real Estate Sector
  • Highest ethical standards and principles.
