Description

The company is a pan-European real estate private equity firm focussed on the logistics and industrial market. The individual will lead the acquisitions and be a key contributor to the expansion of the firm in Germany. This is a diversified role that includes sourcing new investment opportunities, analysing investment and development opportunities, negotiating and executing transactions.

 

Candidate responsibilities:

  • Manage the acquisition throughout Germany;
  • Source, underwrite, bid, negotiate and close deals which fit the firm requirements;
  • Develop, expand and maintain external relationships with key market participants, investment sales, leasing brokers and lenders;
  • Lead and develop strong relationships with business partners;
  • Monitor and analyze economic, legal, political and market conditions within assigned areas;
  • Identifie appropriate financing strategies; evaluate financing proposals;
  • Regularly travel to various markets for purposed of deal sourcing, evaluation, relationship building and obtaining market information;
  • Prepare and present investment memorandum, general marketing materials to formulate recommendation to investment board;
  • Participating in implementing asset management strategies.

 

 Requirements:

  • Graduated from a top tier business school, engineering school or university with outstanding academic qualifications;
  • Having 7 to 15 years’ experience in a real estate organization, private equity fund with a demonstrable track record in acquiring Logistics assets;
  • International profile: German native (Ideally) and fluent in English (written and spoken);
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently in sourcing, underwriting and negotiating transactions;
  • Strong networking skills;
  • Experience making investment recommendations to top Management, investment committees and clients;
  • Ability to work in a team context and under pressure of tight deadlines, uncertain information and with limited resources; ability to manage time efficiently and to adapt to changing priorities ;
  • High degree of attention to detail and ease with numbers;
  • Ability to autonomously prepare and present high-quality reports and presentations in an articulate manner to senior management.
