Our client is a rapidly growing pan-European real estate investment and development company focused on the hotel sector. Supported by top-tier investors, the company is expanding quickly, with new locations under development.

 

The Role

 As an Investment Analyst or Associate, you will join the acquisitions team and play a key role in the company’s European expansion. This diversified role involves sourcing new locations, analysing investment opportunities, negotiating deals, and executing transactions.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the sourcing and preliminary evaluation of investment opportunities.
  • Conduct analyses during the sourcing process, including detailed financial valuations, cash flow assessments, and operating models.
  • Create, update, and run financial models, performing sensitivity analyses and stress testing to assess various impacts on valuation.
  • Assist with due diligence processes (legal, financial, commercial, technical, etc.) and support transaction execution for investments.
  • Prepare investment memoranda and general marketing materials to support recommendations to the investment board.
  • Liaise and coordinate with internal departments during the sourcing and execution processes, including development, legal, design, and finance teams.
  • Communicate with external partners, such as lenders, administrators, lawyers, and tax advisors.
  • Undertake a varied mix of tasks, including sourcing, execution, meetings with advisors, preparing analyses, and administrative responsibilities.

 

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a top-tier business school, engineering school, or university, with outstanding academic credentials.
  • 1 to 5 years of experience in a leading real estate organization, private equity fund, or investment bank.
  • International profile: Fluent in English (written and spoken); proficiency in other European languages is a strong advantage.
  • Exceptional corporate finance, quantitative, technical, and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong numerical aptitude.
  • Ability to independently prepare and deliver high-quality reports and presentations in a clear and professional manner to senior management.
