Description

The company is a real estate private equity firm based in London investing in commercial and alternative real estate assets across Europe. The company will focus on acquiring and repositioning assets that are in need of active asset management and capex investment and often require a change in ownership or a repositioned capital structure to create value and enhance investment returns.

 

Responsibilities:

The role will broadly involve:

  • Preparing and managing the budget and reports which cover the financial performance of the asset, leasing status, rental collection and property valuation;
  • Supporting the Acquisition Team’s due diligence efforts by reviewing leases, evaluating building and property conditions and evaluating future property management/ownership liability;
  • Overseeing third-party management – Joint Venture partner performance;
  • Building and presenting financial models to support the transactional team;
  • Building and maintaining an extensive network of contacts in key European markets;
  • Reporting and presenting monthly/quarterly to the investment board on performance of existing assets.

 

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Fluent in English plus at least one European language (German, French, Spanish, Italian, Greek);
  • Excellent modelling skills;
  • Strong problem resolution and analytical abilities including lease negotiation, property management, financial, tenant relationship, and analysing problems, identifying multiple resolution scenarios and presentation of recommendations;
  • Excellent communication skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, good decision-making skills and an ability to perform under deadline pressure;
  • Must have sound understanding of legal contracts, lease provisions and construction agreements;
  • Solid work ethic. Self-motivated, positive, confident and committed professional;
  • Strong organizational skills;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Passionate about quality and accuracy.

 

Education/Experience:

  • Strong academic background (Real Estate, Finance or Engineering);
  • 2 to 5 years’ experience in real estate asset management and with acquisition, disposition of commercial real estate;
  • Demonstrates versatility in adapting to different real estate markets and geographies;
  • High-level proficiency Microsoft Office;
  • Experience with asset management and property management software.
