The company is a leading pan-European adviser, asset and investment manager focussed on commercial real estate. Clients and partners include global and local banks, private equity funds, hedge funds and institutional investors.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining and developing relationships with commercial real estate firms to source real estate lending opportunities including structured debt, bridge loans, core loans, mezzanine;
- Creating and maintaining relationships with target borrowers, advisors, and intermediaries which will provide a consistent pipeline of suitable investment opportunities;
- Creating and implementing a clear market coverage strategy to drive origination volume;
- Providing feedback on market conditions, competition, supply/demand dynamics and insights regarding new product development needed;
- Working with legal counsel and underwriters to negotiate term sheets, loan agreements, intercreditor agreements and related legal documentation;
- Working with the underwriting and other resources on transaction reviews, financial modeling, market surveys, tenant credit analysis, and analysing third-party reports;
- Collaborating with other members of the investment team to achieve company objectives.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Fluent English – Speaking German or Deutsch would be a plus;
- Effective negotiator with demonstrated ability to achieve consensus;
- Excellent modeling skills;
- Excellent communication skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, good decision-making skills and an ability to perform under deadline pressure;
- Solid work ethic. Self-motivated, positive, confident and committed professional;
- Strong organizational skills;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Passionate about quality and accuracy.
Education/Experience:
- Strong academic background (Real Estate, Finance or Engineering);
- 8/10 years’+ of experience;
- Demonstrates versatility in adapting to different real estate markets and geographies;
- High-level proficiency Microsoft Office.
