The company is a private equity real estate firm headquartered in London and investing in commercial and residential assets across Europe.
The role will focus on the logistics and industrial portfolio and asset management activities across Europe. The role requires proven expertise in portfolio management, asset management or real estate investment.
The role:
Focus of the role is leading the Central London oversight function across a number of invested logistics platforms across Europe taking a lead on effectively managing Clients assets in line with their investment preference and driving business plan execution. You will provide:
- Oversight of the financial models across different investor platforms to monitor asset and deal level returns (cash flow forecasts with a focus on both operational assumptions and the capital structure of a business)
- Prepare and co-ordinate financial reporting, bank covenant analysis and Investor information requirements
- Determine the financial viability of refurbishment projects
- Onboarding of new acquisitions into the existing investment portfolios
- Actual v Budget analysis and detailed analysis on performance v market indicators and macro environment
- Drafting presentations and strategic analysis for Investor meetings
- Deliver creative financing solutions on each platform, negotiating and executing new debt packages where required
- Monitor project and fund compliance with regulatory requirements
- Prepare and review timely asset management reports
- Prepare regular investment reports, risk assessments of investments
- Execute corrective measures when early warning signs exist on performance issues
- Negotiate large transaction complex agreements
The Candidate:
To be successful in this role, you will come from a Real Estate asset manager, fund, or Private Equity in Real Estate background with experience within the logistics sector. You must have previous experience of working in a similar environment and you will likely have:
- 7+ years’ experience of asset management and/or transaction experience within the real estate sector with exposure to logistics
- The candidate must demonstrate a strong track record of underwriting and asset managing complex real estate portfolios and transactions across Europe
- Track record in managing a Real Estate Fund or portfolio with direct ownership for business plan execution, Investor Reporting and financial fund management
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills and ability to show strong working knowledge of financial models and corporate finance theory
- Demonstrated ability to analyse and interpret complex documents and respond effectively to sensitive inquiries
- Able to work under tight deadlines; high level of attention to detail, both in numerical analysis and written reports whilst managing several projects in parallel with minimal supervision
